Recently, the high voltage test laboratory project of Huzhou Tailun Electric Equipment Co., Ltd. has been successfully completed. Shanghai Demiks Power Technology Co., Ltd. (DEMIKS) delivered a full turnkey solution, covering the construction of partial discharge shielding room, complete set of high voltage partial discharge test equipment, system integration, on-site installation and commissioning. A standardized partial discharge testing platform is officially put into operation for Huzhou Tailun.
As stricter testing specifications are implemented for medium & high voltage electrical products, partial discharge measurement has become a mandatory type test for transformers, switchgears and instrument transformers. Open testing workshops suffer severe external electromagnetic interference, which leads to inaccurate PD test results.
To solve this pain point, DEMIKS provided an integrated solution including a high-performance partial discharge shielding room, DDW-30kVA/150kV non-PD test transformer, DZD coupling capacitor divider, digital partial discharge analysis system and isolated remote control console of high voltage partial discharge test equipment. Operators can control all test procedures outside the shielding room to ensure safety during high voltage experiments.
The partial discharge shielding room adopts advanced electromagnetic shielding structure, which effectively suppresses ambient electromagnetic noise and meets GB/T & IEC standards for partial discharge measurement. The matched non-partial discharge high voltage source features ultra-low inherent PD level, supporting power frequency withstand voltage test and partial discharge type test for high voltage components.
After the launch of the new PD laboratory, Huzhou Tailun can carry out independent partial discharge testing in-house. It greatly shortens product R&D and delivery cycle, strengthens quality control and improves market competitiveness.
